Sending Email Outside HGC Network
Outlook Express 5.X
1. Double-click "Outlook Express" icon.


2. Click "Tool" at menu bar and select "Account"


3. Click the tab "Mail" to highlight your email profile and click the "Properties" button.

4. Click the tab "Server" and check the option "My server requires authentication" then click the "Settings" button.


5. Select the option "Log on using Account Name", enter your email address (e.g. user_id@on-nets.com) at "Account Name" and your password at the "Password". Then click the "OK" button.


6. Click the "Apply" button and the change will be effective immediately.


7. Click "OK" and "Close" button to close the dialogue box. Then you can check your mail box to receive and send mail.


Netscape Messenger 6.X
1. Double click "Netscape Messenger" to start.


2. Choose "Edit" from menu bar and select "Mail & Newsgroups Account Setting".


3. Select "Outgoing Server (SMTP)".


4. Check the option "User Name & Password" and enter your user name (e.g. user@on-nets.com) at "User Name". Then press "OK".


5. Then you can check your mail box to receive and send mail.

Eudora 5.X
1. Double-click "Eudora" icon.


2. Click "Tool" at menu bar and select "Options"


3. Select "Sending Mail" icon at Category.


4. Check the option "Allow authentication", then click "OK".


5. Then you can check your mail box to receive and send mail.
